Theresa Abell Haynes
Theresa Abell Haynes is a journalist and historical novelist who writes stories of faith, courage, and hope drawn from the lives of real people.
She holds a master’s degree in the Religious Roots of Europe from Lund University in Sweden and a bachelor’s degree in journalism. After nearly two decades homeschooling her children, she returned to writing and now contributes to Christian news publications. Her articles have appeared in WORLD and Clubhouse magazines.
Her debut novel, The Queen’s Priest: The Story of Blessed Thomas Abell, grew out of years of research into the English Reformation — including time spent with Thomas Abell’s own 1532 booklet, Invicta Veritas, in the British Library.
Theresa lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband of 30 years. She enjoys international adventures and has been known to spend way too much time reading plaques in museums. She is also the president of the Northwest Christian Writers Association.
